Chinmaya Mission Noida
Chinmaya Mission Noida organised the 6th "Evoking Excellence" seminar for principals, heads of institutions, and the management teams of schools across the National Capital Region (NCR) at Ahlcon International School, Mayur Vihar Phase I, Delhi, on 9th November 2024.
The theme of the seminar was Wholeness in Education: Spirituality, Self-Care, and Stress Management.
Swami Chidrupananda, the Acharya of Chinmaya Mission Noida, was the spokesperson at the seminar. *He is a spiritual master of the Bhagavad Gita. His words were the guidelines for a peaceful, managed, and successful life. He talked about stress management and spirituality.
He emphasized the path of spirituality as it generates, conserves, and channelizes our energies most efficiently. When we follow the path of spirituality, our problem-analyzing capacity improves. He also talked about relationships. According to him, management is all about maintaining the right kind of relationship with the people around us. When we learn to hold the whole in view, we will not hurt anybody, and we will not insult anybody.
He suggested that the secret of self-care is balance in life. To be healthy—physically, and mentally—we should have balance in life. "Negativity in us attracts negativity," so we should always try to be positive in our thinking, behaviour, and actions. We can inculcate positivity by learning to comply with the eternal values of life. We should handle our minds with a trained intellect. The only cause of stress is the mismanagement of desires.
It was our privilege to receive his blessings. The content of the session was relevant, practical, and relatable. We all enjoyed the talk and learned to gain a new perspective on life as educators.
